KINGFISHER

The Kingfisher archtop is a true jazz guitar with a compact lower bout width of 15" and full 3 3/8" body depth.

​

All solid construction featuring a hand carved sitka spruce top and walnut back and sides.

​

All bindings and inlay work are solid timbers. I like to select pieces with flame or figured grain to really show to beauty of the wood.

​

A single floating humbucking pickup from Fletcher pickups sits in the neck position with a single volume control tucked neatly under the pick guard.

  • Soundboard – Sitka spruce

  • Back & sides – Walnut

  • Nut – Buffalo bone - 43mm

  • Fretboard – Ebony

  • Bridge – Ebony

  • Tailpeice - Ebony

  • Neck – Walnut

  • Machine heads – Schaller M6

  • Finish – Nitrocellulose or 2k lacquer. Natural or vintage sunburst.

  • Electronics – Floating humbucker by Fletcher pickups with single volume control.
